Hey, I was a Rick Astley fan before Rick Astley was cool...again?

Would you accept an offer to be lead animator on a randomly produced Rick Astley Video Game?

Your gameplay mechanic would be as generic as "Sneak King": Stalk people to Rick Roll them : D

That'd be so bad ass. It would redefine the stealth genre...

No, Mokuu; not a randomly produced game. It would have to be a studio that I knew would treat the subject matter with the utmost reverence and respect.

Ryan: Lets examine the list of studios which could work on this project.

EA: Added on Sountrack featuring Snoop Dog, GunsNRoses and Blink182. Also shitload of unlockable achievements.

Konami: Longuest cutscenes ever but Rick's journey will be filled with metaphores and life lessons.

Sony: Well if you hate interactive cutscenes, skip this.

Suda51: One hint: Rick Astley weilds a giant buster sword to defend himself from "fanatics".

Actually, I would say Activision are the masters of licensed music in games. They pretty much invented the concept with the Tony Hawk series.

As for project, the Suda51 one would be the obvious choice. Rick's career as a former pop star is just a cover for his work as a hitman.

No lie, I would make that game. It would be the heir apparent to Moonwalker... but good.

We should TOTALLY try and create a design doc for this game sometime as a fun/stupid side episode.
